Steel structure poultry house case

In China, with the new construction of modern houses, more and more pig houses began to use light steel structure. The advantage of this structure is that it can achieve factory production and assembly construction, which is not only conducive to ensuring the construction period, but also to ensure the quality of construction. Especially for pig farm projects located in remote areas with small overall construction area, light steel structure is more suitable.

The basic principles of architectural design are "safety, applicability, economy and beauty". For the pig house, due to the requirements of environmental control in the production process and the relatively harsh air environment in the house, corrosion protection, air tightness and insulation have become the key objectives of design and construction. Based on these requirements, this paper will discuss the design and construction points of light steel structure pig house.

First, let's look at the commonly used metal materials. These materials include galvanized color coated plate, aluminum plated zinc color coated plate, aluminum manganese magnesium alloy plate, stainless steel plate and titanium zinc plate. At present, the application of stainless steel plate and aluminum-manganese magnesium alloy plate in pig houses is still relatively limited, and galvanized color coated plate and aluminum-zinc color coated plate are the most commonly used materials in pig houses.

The composition of color coated plate mainly includes substrate, coating and coating. Among them, coating and plating are the main factors affecting its anti-corrosion performance. According to the different coating material, the color coated plate can be divided into galvanized color coated plate and aluminum zinc coated plate. Aluminum has a unique advantage in corrosion protection because it can quickly form a dense and thick alumina film in the air, and the formation of this film can effectively prevent further intrusion of corrosion. The aluminum plated zinc plate combines the protective effect of aluminum oxide film and the electrochemical protection effect of zinc on iron, and it is generally considered that its corrosion resistance is better than that of galvanized plate. However, the corrosion resistance of aluminum-plated zinc plate in ammonia water is relatively poor, so it is not recommended to use in livestock and poultry house environment.

In order to understand the anti-corrosion properties of different coated steel plates more directly, we carried out ammonia water corrosion tests. The test results show that the coating adhesion of ZAM daily galvanized aluminum-manganese plate is 90g/m2, that of hot-dip Zinc-Zn coating is 90g/m2 on one side, and that of hot-dip galvanized 55%Al-Zn alloy coating is 80g/m2 on one side. The test condition is to soak the sample in 5% ammonia water for 24 hours at 22℃, and then determine the corrosion reduction. In addition, the end face and back face of the sample were also sealed. It can be seen from the test results that galvanized sheet has obvious advantages in ammonia resistance.
